Delivery FAQS

How is the food delivered?

Our meals are delivered chilled, via refrigerated transport.

Your meals will be packed into an insulated cardboard box with a cooling gel pack. This is then delivered via refrigerated transport to your door.

You'll receive a text upon delivery. Our drivers will endeavour to leave your order in a safe location out of direct sunlight where possible - please ensure to bring your order inside and put your meals in the fridge once delivered.

How much is shipping?

Our shipping fee is a flat rate of $15 for refrigerated delivery, ensuring your meals arrive fresh and safely chilled.

Does your food come frozen?

Nope - our food arrives to you freshly prepared by the kitchen. Your delivery will be sent to your door in a refrigerated truck, so it doesn’t need to be frozen – it’ll be ready for you to heat up as soon as you’re ready.

If you don’t plan on eating your meals by the use-by date, you can absolutely freeze them. When you're ready to eat, we advise reheating the meal from frozen instead of defrosting or thawing your meal out first. It'll take about 5-6 minutes in the microwave.

Missing delivery?

If there are missing items from your delivery, you must contact us on (03) 8669 0587 9am to 5pm (AEST/AEDT) within 24 hours of the delivery time and we will take steps to verify and confirm any such missing items. Please see our T&C's for further information.

Dineamic | Ready Made Meals NDIS

If you are one of the 460,000 people expected to receive a package as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or currently have a plan, you might not expect that meal preparation and delivery can be included in your plan.  (Don’t worry we were also part of this crew) particularly as the food itself can’t be covered.  However, if it’s deemed necessary and reasonable the preparation and delivery of meals can be covered.

With our focus on Convenience, Taste and Balance we’ve been travelling across Victoria with a mission to spread the word that we’re not just here as another meal delivery company, but also a team committed to helping the community stress less in the kitchen and spend more time on things that matter to them.

What is the NDIS?

The NDIS is a system to provide support to Australians living with disability under the age of 65 as well as their family & carers receive support to build skills, gain independence and access supports to help them live a normal life.

What makes us a great fit for the NDIS?

Even before the scheme rolled out, we knew that our combination of nutritionally balanced, great tasting, and easy to prepare meals put us in in the right position to be proactive about supporting people living with disability.

What sets us apart from regular meal delivery companies is that our meals are guided by a team of talented chefs and dietitians and made according to the Australian Dietary Guidelines so you can trust that what you’re eating is good for you. We focus on seasonal and premium ingredients at an affordable price without ever compromising on taste. In addition to this, our own in-house guidelines have us committed to including at least 2 servings of vegetables per meal with some soups close to 4 servings!

Flexibility with Ordering & Delivery

We’ve made it as simple and as flexible as possible so that you won’t have to worry about claiming, payment, deadlines and all that headache-y stuff. Under Core Supports and “Assistance with Daily Living”, the NDIA will cover the preparation and delivery of meals for those who are:

  • Unable to do it themselves, or
  • Are not receiving similar support that would meet the same needs.

Because the ingredients themselves are not covered by the NDIA, participants just need to make a small co-payment to cover the cost of these – the only out of pocket expense for this.

In other words:

  • 25% will be out of pocket expenses ($2.27 - $3.64 per meal)
  • 75% will be covered by the NDIS plan

Whether you are self-managed, plan-managed or agency managed, we can work with you to find meals and ordering options to suit your needs, and get some delicious, nutritious food out to you!

We love being able to teach or give participants the autonomy to order when they want to whenever they require meals, we can do this by setting up unique discount codes that can be used when checking out. One of our greatest strengths to date is our range of deliverable areas, servicing just under 2500 suburbs across Melbourne, Regional Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia, we deliver our meals straight to your door.

Working towards goals and independence

If you haven’t already received your plan and are getting ready for your planning meeting, it’s a great idea to think about how meal preparation and delivery may support you.  For some of our participants, it helps them gain further independence, gain more time to focus on other matters like work, school or other activities and often enables them to improve their general health and wellbeing.

We could talk all day, but instead, we thought you might want to hear from a real person who we work with & how Dineamic has helped them. Here’s what Frances had to say:

As a participant of the NDIS who lives in Albury / Wodonga and in receipt of funding for food preparation and delivery, I have found it difficult to find a reliable provider who would deliver to a rural area. Then I found the most wonderful tasting food from Dineamic that also can be delivered to my kitchen bench. It’s fantastic! You go onto the website and choose your meals (p.s. the power balls are mind-blowing) then go to the checkout and you pay your contribution and Dineamic will invoice your plan manager or the NDIS. Then you just have to heat the meals and enjoy"

- Frances Kupke-Smith, NDIS Participant
